Health Writer 

Skills and Experience: 
1. Highly experienced in writing for professional associations and trade magazines in the behavioral health and wellness industry.
 
2. Proven skills in researching and composing highly effective health-related articles, white papers, social media posts and blog content (samples required).

3. Demonstrated skills in writing marketing copy for organizations in the behavioral health and wellness industry.

4.  Exemplary foundational writing skills including use of grammar and punctuation. 
 
5.  Experience researching and sourcing trending mental health and wellness content. 

6.  Experience applying Fair Use and Plain Language standards. 
 
7. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team via chat, Skype, Trello and Highrise.  


Responsibilities:

1.  Research and write 500 word (pamphlet) articles, incorporating DSM 5 content and other relevant sources.

2.  Research trending health and wellness news, and write quarterly health and wellness newsletters for EAPs and their client companies.

3.  Write blog posts informing behavioral health and wellness professionals on how to use media to effectively engage consumers, clients, etc. 
 
4.  Curate social media content reinforcing thought leadership on how media is being used to engage behavioral health and wellness consumers. 

5. Assist with development of website marketing copy and scripts for landing page videos.
 
 
Compensation:
 
1. Contract role; hourly based on skills and experience.

 


Graphic Designer

Skills and Experience:

1. Highly experienced in graphic design in healthcare or related industry.

2. Solid portfolio including print and web design. 

3. Available to serve on an as needed-basis and work contractually. 

4. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team via chat, Skype, Trello and Highrise.


Responsibilities:

1. Assist with website design and development (landing pages, etc. ) by converting concept drawings into Ai (or other) files that will then be implemented by web developer.   

2. Contribute to growing health and wellness poster line by creating original works.

3. Assist with expansion of health and wellness pamphlet line by applying existing style guide to new pamphlets.

4. Assist with development and production of health and wellness newsletter.

Compensation:

1. Contract role; hourly based on skills and experience.
